47.Success Of Life 2 - Childhood

As I have already mentioned, our lives are mainly driven by expectations or simply by hopes. When our hopes get real, we will be happy. Until the hopes are fulfilled, we live with some sort of happiness because of our hope, that the hope we are looking for will become real soon or near future or someday in the life or else we will be sad because of the non-fulfillment of the hope but it may be a sweet pain since still our sub-concious bears even a little hope, on getting our hope real one day.

I am lucky to remember my past as way back as I was only five years old. Why I say this firmly is I can still remember the first day, I was admitted to village school and even those days, five years was the admission age to schools. Scene of this and lot more are still saved in my sub-concious and they will appear in front of me clearly, when I close my eyes and recall them, few more of which are my first day of receipt of holy communion; the first day I climbed Sigiriya - the famous, historical, huge rock in Sri Lanka on which was the palace of the king Kashyapa and his fortress; how we went to our loved grand mother’s house through shortcut along thin earth bunds in vast stretch of paddy fields; Christmas, new year and rainy seasons; Wesak days; school holidays;pilgrimages; picnics;—————————

There were instances that we cried hard for tiny reasons but we can be proud of our childhood as an era full of innocent happiness.
